These are small home based groups that focus on understanding and applying Scripture to our everyday lives. These groups meet monthly and will begin again in September. Class for Married Couples or Engaged Couples Sundays afternoons (starting September 12)

We have just finished our 2nd offering of a marriage strengthening class called CPREP (or Christian PREP). More than 30 couples have participated in the first two series and post-course evaluations have been very positive. This 12-week course is based on Christian principles as well as solid research and has proven to be effective in increasing the happiness of marriages as well as preventing divorce. We feel strongly in the value of this material, and have decided to offer itagain, at 4:30-5:30PM on Sundays beginning September 12 at Bethany. You may purchase a copy at the Bethany Christian Store or any other reliable book store if you wish to get a “heads-up” on the kind of discussions we anticipate.

Parents of Young Children Class on Sunday Mornings - On Sunday morning, September 12, our Parents class will begin a new series which may be the most important topic we’ve covered: Faith-Parenting. This will be an 8-9 week series based on George Barna’s book and DVD, Revolutionary Parenting. Large numbers of adolescents fail to develop an active faith or leave it altogether; the causes and the solutions begin much earlier. But many parents feel inadequate or unprepared to make a difference in this realm – we want to help equip you for this vital role. Sundays, 9:30 AM, Room 112.
