Other Sunday Classes

Monthly Single Parents Support Group (1st Sunday of each month at 4:30PM with child care) - We're starting a new gathering, just for you! While parenting is a challenging task for anyone, we know that it can be especially difficult for the single parent. We do not care for what reason you are single, nor whether you're male or female, nor if divorcedwhether you're the custodial or non-custodial parent; we just want to be helpful to you, give you a group of other people who share this situation, and help you to gain some wisdom, information, and coping skills. This group will be led by some people who have been down this road and still have some level of sanity remaining. Child care provided. Contact Mark Boerger, Director of Young Adult Ministries, with questions.

Weekly Bethany 101 or Weekend Bethany 101 - This is a prerequisite class for those interested in becoming a member of Bethany if you do not have a previous Lutheran background. The first portion covers basic Christian belief; next the discussion covers the Lutheran faith.

Orientation - The class is designed for Lutherans interested in transferring their Lutheran membership to Bethany or for those who just finished Bethany 101.  It is also for families who desire to join under “Reaffirmation of Faith” if their Lutheran membership is no longer active.  This class is an excellent way to discover the many Bible studies, fellowship groups, and events at Bethany.  You will find this class to be very helpful in connecting with others who have similar interests.  You will complete a time and talents booklet.   Contact the church office at 292-8778 for orientation dates.
