God desires that we grow in our faith and knowledge of Him. One of the best ways to do that is to be in His Word. Spending time in Scripture should be a priority in our lives. Below you will find a list of Bible study classes currently being offered - join any of the classes at any time. You will be blessed.

Men’s Morning Bible Breakfast (Led by Pastor Knippa) – Meets Mondays at 7AM at La Familia (3601 W. William Cannon Dr. #900)

Pastor Lentz’s Tuesday Morning Bible Study Studying the forthcoming Sunday’s Bible readings at 9:30AM in room 102.

Tuesday Evening Young Adult Group (20’s and 30’s) Meets at 7PM at Mark Boerger’s house for Bible study and fellowship. Now moving from our Apologetics series to a study of the biblical book of Romans, which Martin Luther referred to as “the chief part of the New Testament”, and “truly the purest gospel”. Free meal and fellowship at 7pm, Bible study at 8pm. Contact Mark Boerger for more information. Beyond the Basics (Room 102) - Eschatology is a fancy word for talk about the "end times." Does such talk frighten you -- or make you filled with anticipation? Are we in the "end times" now or must we wait for them? What are the "signs" of the "end times"? How does talk about "end times" affect our faith and our lives? Those are things that we will bediscussing this Sunday. Come join in the discussion.  Led by Pastor Beck.

Exodus Class (Room 108) - New video series titled “If You Want to Walk on Water, You Have to Get Out of the Boat.Join us at for this 6-session journey on learning to trust God. Based on the book by John Ortberg, the class will be led by Glen and Donna Alexander and Carleton Britt.

Parents with Young children (Room 112) - Back by popular demand, we are continuing our marriage theme by delving into Gary Smalley’s DVD-based study, I Promise – “How 5 Commitments Determine the Destiny of Your Marriage”. Beginning Sunday, Dec. 27. Contact Mark Boerger if you have any questions.

Bethany 101 - This is a prerequisite class for those interested in becoming a member of Bethany if you do not have a previous Lutheran background. The first portion covers basic Christian belief; next the discussion covers the Lutheran faith.

Orientation - The class is designed for Lutherans interested in transferring their Lutheran membership to Bethany or for those who just finished Bethany 101.  It is also for families who desire to join under “Reaffirmation of Faith” if their Lutheran membership is no longer active.  This class is an excellent way to discover the many Bible studies, fellowship groups, and events at Bethany.  You will find this class to be very helpful in connecting with others who have similar interests.  You will complete a time and talents booklet.   Contact the church office at 292-8778 for orientation dates.
