JAM (Jesus and Me)
All 3-5th graders are welcome to join JAM (Jesus and me) every Sunday at 3:30-4:30PM for fun and excitement every week. Our goal is to provide fellowship for kids through meaningful activities that draw them closer to the Lord and engage them in a lifelong walk with Christ. Friends are always welcome! Print out the latest newsletter or contact Kim Lauer for questions. Please remember that JAM is now from 3:30-4:30PM unless otherwise noted for special events. Parents are always welcome to come and participate with us. January January 1 – No JAM! Happy New Year! January 8 – Silly game day! Come and play some silly indoor games! January 15 – We will have a devotion and games and snacks! January 22 – Board Games! We will play board games. Bring your favorite if you wish. January 29 – Listening to God. Come for a discussion and an experiment on listening. February February 5 – We will make a fun craft to share with others. February 12 – Mission Impossible! We will have a discussion and fun activity on encouragement. February 19 – Tag day! Come and play various games of tag. February 26 – Bible Trivia! Come and play this fun learning game and win prizes! March March 4 – Come for a fun game and discussion on believing God and his power! March 11 – No JAM – Spring break! March 18 – We will have a bible study and then time for games. March 25 – Gossip. Come and learn how to stop the spreading of hurtful words. We will also play telephone charades. April April 1 – No JAM – due to first communion April 8 – No JAM! Happy Easter April 15 – Come and discuss how we can help to tell others about God. April 22 – Ice Cream! We will go and get ice cream. Parent drivers are needed. April 29 – Angels! We will discuss angels and their mighty messages.

First Sunday of every month – worship session: We will spend time glorifying God with fun songs, active prayers, and a message from Kim Lauer. There will also be games that go along with our theme of the day! Second Sunday of every month – fellowship: We will play games and have fun together as a group who loves Jesus! Third Sunday of every month – family session: Parents and siblings are invited to join us so that we can learn and grow together. A couple families will work together in small groups as they discover more about Jesus and each other. We will also play fun games! Fourth Sunday of every month – missions: The youth will have opportunities to give of their time and talents to help others. We will make crafts, learn songs and skits, and find ways to serve others at Bethany, in the community, and around the world. Fifth Sunday of every month – activity: We will go participate in an activity somewhere on or off campus. Families will be invited!
