2nd Grade Bible Distribution
Reformation Sunday
One of Bethany’s long-standing traditions is the distribution of Bibles to 2nd graders on Reformation Sunday. During the Reformation, Dr. Martin Luther emphasized the importance of placing the Word of God into the people’s hands, including children. If you would like your child to receive this gift, we are blessed to do so.
Trunk or Treat
Join us at Bethany for the annual Trunk-or-Treat. As an alternative to trick-or-treating in your neighborhood you can come and trunk-or-treat in Bethany’s parking lot. Cars will be decorated in cool ways and people will be giving out candy. There will also be a cake walk and other fall activities.
Easter Celebration (Saturday before Easter)
Join us on the Saturday morning before Easter as we celebration Easter with egg hunt, games, activities, and other events. The events is open to little ones up through 4th grade. This is a great opportunity to invite friends and neighbors to church. If you would like to help with activities, please sign up at the Easter Celebration board or contact Kim Lauer.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Dates: June 18-22
Bethany offers a large VBS program for members, friends, and the community. This is our largest children’s outreach program hosting over 600 children per year. The program takes place one week in June and runs from 9 AM-12 noon! Each year we have a new program that leads us on a Bible journey with educational activities such as crafts, snacks, games, skits and songs. All children ages 3-6th grade are welcome to attend. Parent and youth volunteers are always needed!
