Background

There are many opportunities for mission and service in the year of 2008.  Four mission trips have, or will, take place in a span of only 6 months.  Various members of Bethany, of all different ages, will serve, help, and minister to four separate communities throughout the year. Each mission group will be serving people in unique ways, but all hope to bring God’s love to a hurting world. From Tunica, Mississippi to El Paso, Texas and from New Orleans, Louisiana to Dallas, Texas, we will be taking the gospel into the world to both physically and spiritually impact people's lives for Christ.  Pray that Christ would use these groups to continue to assure people of God’s presence and goodness! 

Thank you for supporting your missionaries.  Your contribution is helping them to withdraw from their ordinary culture in Austin and immerse themselves in a new environment where they can bring the love of God to various distressed communities. Many people from around the world will be helped and loved because of your support.  Thank you and God bless you. 

Tournament Details

You can enter as a whole team (limit 4 per team) or just enter yourself and we will get you into a foursome. Course requires collared shirts, soft spikes and golf clubs. No denim allowed. Lunch will be served after the tournament. Golfers need forgiveness too, so we will be selling Mulligans prior to the tournament. (Isn't that like indulgences?)

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

• Closest to the pin
• Longest drive
• First hole in one on every par 3
• Overall Tournament winner

In addition, we will have gift bags and a raffle drawing.
