High School Sunday School
Our Sunday school education time at Bethany is 9:30 AM in Senior Youth Room led by Landon Becker. The class discusses and takes an in depth look at God’s Word, along with having various other topical discussions. High School Youth Groups on Sunday Nights from 7-9PM
Some of the events that this group does includes Bible Study, Discussions, Mission Trips, Retreats, Service Projects, Day Trips, Games, Food, Special Events (Blanket Dinner, Sr. Dinner, Super Bowl Party, etc.), Offsite activities such as Broomball and Laser Tag, Worship, and more. "Hidden Treasures" High School Girl's Bible Study
All high school girls (9th -12th grade) are encouraged to attend a weekly connection with Jesus and fellowship with other girls through the "Hidden Treasures" Bible Study. The Bible Study is every Tuesday from 6:30-8:00PM in the Senior High Youth room. The study is lead by Debbie Rehmann.
ICU (Intensive Christian Unit) Bible Study on Wednesday nights
ICU is a Bible study that meets every Wednesday nights from 7:15-8:45PM. ICU is open to all 11th and 12th grade students led by Landon during the school year. Each Wednesday evening ICU starts with a 20 minute worship service and opening devotion. This group typically spends time connecting with each other through reflections and discussions of their week, school, life, family, and whatever else is on their hearts. We also spend time diving into God’s Word and various topic talks. This group does not meet in the summer. Please contact Landon Becker, Minister of Youth and Education for more information.
SLT (Student Leadership Team)
The high school youth ministry is proud to offer opportunities for youth do ministry in a leadership capacity. We desire to explore, fuel, and lift up the gifts and talents God has put into each of our high school youth. One of the goals of high school youth ministry is that when our youth graduate they would be tools ready to serve Christ and His people at college or any other church that the Lord and life in general leads them to. In an effort to ensure we are equipping the saints we have designed a student leadership team that works directly with Landon and is on the frontlines of dreaming, designing, implementing, and leading ministry for high school youth. These leadership roles are helpful in developing huge life skills needed by our youth for the future. To be part of the student leadership team youth have to fill out an application, seek references, and go through an interview process. The application process is begins in May of each year. Youth Praise Band
This special ministry helps lead openings, closings, and Prayer and Praise Sunday for the High School Youth Program. The band is open to high school youth wanting to try out for the band and is youth led. Please contact Landon Becker, Minister of Youth and Education for more information.
Youth Confirmation - Acolyte Schedule
Bethany offers a two year program of instruction for Youth Confirmation. Youth are eligible to begin Confirmation instruction beginning in the 9th grade. This program is held on Wednesday evenings from September to May. Second year students are confirmed the first Sunday in May. The Confirmation program includes weekly worship services, pastoral teaching and small group meetings with adult leaders. Youth also participate in two Confirmation retreats and several service projects led by Minister of Youth and Education, Landon Becker.
