Mission Statement
Men’s Ministry at Bethany Lutheran Church works toward Bethany’s mission by supporting and strengthening men in their love and faith in the living God; in their spiritual, moral, emotional, mental, and physical health and growth; in their development of Christian community and of Christ-like relationships; and in their services to all of God’s children.
Retreats
Men’s Retreat: Join us for our annual Fall Retreat. It includes a weekend of studying God's word, fellowship, and fun for men of all ages, led by one of the pastors. Check back for more details. If you have any questions, please contact Mark Boerger or Pastor Knippa for more details.
Men’s & Boy’s Retreat: Join us for our annual Spring Retreat at a ranch or State Park. It includes fishing, hiking, canoeing, swimming, basketball, disc golf, and great fellowship with one another. Men and boys of all ages attend each year.
Men's Fraternity: Provides men with an encouraging process that teaches them how to live lives of authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus Christ and directed by the Word of God. For more information about the Bible studies, go to Men's Fraternity.
The Quest for Authentic Manhood – Explores a man and his past to understand his current actions and expectations. This training will challenge you to consider the following several important questions: Why do I continue to make the same decisions over and over again? What does God expect from me. Do I have a Manhood plan?
Winning at work and Home – Explores a man and his daily responsibility. This training will challenge you to consider the following several important questions: How do I improve my relationship with my wife / girlfriend? How can I enjoy work more? Am I preparing my kids for life?
The Great Adventure - Explores a man and his world beyond the everyday. This training will challenge you to consider the following several important questions: Who am I? What are my life dreams? Do I have courage to pursue those dreams?
