BETHANY SINGLE ADULTS

Calling all Bethany Singles 30+ to join our singles group!  It would be wonderful if we could expand our singles family.  We have many family friendly activities and we welcome new members with their children into our group.  Many active participants started in the group in their 30’s and are still enjoying the fellowship that the group offers.

If you are not now an active participant in our Single Adult group, please consider joining Sunday school and our social activities.  Be a part of the Bethany Single Adult Family. We come together not through a job, a school or a social event, but through something as solid and real as our Christian beliefs.  Where else can you know that the members of the group you are spending time with share the same beliefs and ethics as you possess?  Where else can you find a group that accepts people for the goodness they have without regard to their social position or financial holdings?   Our Singles group is such a place. Please invite fellow single parishioners to join our Sunday school class and to attend some of our events.

As the New Year begins, make a resolution to become a member of our Singles group.

Contact Karen Williamson, Singles Ministry Coordinator, to receive e-mail updates and the monthly newsletter, or call the church office at 292-8778.

Max Lucado takes readers on an unforgettable journey to show what may happen When Christ Comes. service projects!

Do you have any New Service Project Ideas?  Our Group has so much talent and energy and we are looking for new ideas on how to help the less fortunate.  Please send any ideas to Lorraine Wayland.

Fundraising -  The group has determined that we could help more people in more ways if we had some money in our account.  Are you interested in starting a fundraising project or two?  If so, please contact Lorraine Wayland.

Capital Area Food Bank of Texas - We will be working at the Food Bank every other month in 2010.  Bethany collects non-perishable food items for the Capital Area Food Bank each month so we encourage every one who can to contribute. The three highest needs are canned meat, peanut butter, and diapers. We also accept other items, such as soup, juice boxes, and other non-perishable food. You can drop off the food in the boxes near the entrances of the sanctuary. This food is distributed year round to the food pantries throughout Central Texas who assist families with groceries. If so, please contact Lorraine Wayland.
