The Bethany Music Ministry offers a wide variety of opportunities for those seeking to serve the Lord through music.  Here is a listing of some of the music organizations you may want to join. Bethany's music ministry has been under the leadership of David Angerman since 1980.

The Chancel Choir, a mixed choir of some 45 singers meets Wednesdays at 7 pm.  Under the direction of David Angerman, Director of Music, they rehearse special music predominately for the 11 am service.  In addition, the Chancel Choir prepares a Lessons and Carols service with full orchestra during the Christmas season.  Occasionally, they prepare a major musical to present to the congregation and community.  Last year’s musical was FOUR TICKETS TO CHRISTMAS, by Mark Hayes.   

The Praise Team is an auditioned vocal and instrumental team helps lead worship in song at the 9:30 and 11AM services.  Vocals, guitar, lead guitar, flute, bass guitar, drums, percussion, and occasionally violin all blend their collective talents to lift song of praise to the Lord.  Auditions are held bi-annually.  Watch the announcements for the next audition, or contact David Angerman for more information.  

The Sonrise Singers is open to all high school students.  Under the direction of Kimberly Prather, the Sonrise Singers work in the fall to prepare music for worship.  In the spring they focus their attention on a musical production to take on tour in the early summer.  Past tours have taken them all across the United States, Canada and the Bahamas.  Rehearsals are Sundays at 5:30PM.  For more information, contact Kimberly Angerman.

The Celebration Singers is a Girls and Womens Choir.  Meeting at 4:30PM, this group is ideally scheduled  to accommodate girls in grades 6-8.  Moms and other women of Bethany are welcome and encouraged to come sing!  The Celebration Singers prepares SA and SSA anthems for worship.  Under the direction of Kimberly Prather.   For more information, contact Kimberly Angerman.

The JoySingers is for grades 3-5, and meet, also under the direction of Kimberly Prather, at 3:30PM on Sundays.  The performance date is Wednesday, December 12.  For more information, contact Kimberly Angerman.

The Frost Bellringers rehearses on Wednesday at 8PM under the direction of Sharla Winkler.  This 5 octave bell choir rings in worship about once every month.  If you are interested in joining, please contact Sharla.  They currently have two openings.  Reading skills preferred!

The Bethany Orchestra consists of both members and nonmembers.  They meet on an as needed basis.  This year the orchestra will be playing for the annual Lessons and Carols service, the Easter Sunday Service and a patriotic service.  It is under the direction of David Angerman.
