”Come and follow me." is all Jesus said, and tough, self-reliant fishermen heard his words, and dropped everything to follow Him. Today in our hustle, bustle world, where everyone has buried their focus in the tiny handheld computers we call phones, can anyone hear the call of God? What if Jesus chose that piece of technology that has encircled our world to speak us today?

Twittering is a new form of communication made famous by athletes and Hollywood super-stars. Now you can connect with your favorite athlete or movie star and follow their lives through their “tweets.” Twitter Me is a musical about a group of young people that start receiving the Call from Christ to follow Him through messages on their cell phones and computers. Each responds in a different way.   Some drop everything to make that leap of faith and others cannot accept the offer of Christ to break them free from the bonds of this world that entangle them.

So now you have to ask yourself, “lf Jesus called me on my cell phone and said, ‘Follow me.’”

The Sonrise Singers would like to thank you for the generous support with the successful Hoedown at Mills Elementary and all the donations for the garage sale.  The group of 30+ high school youth and adults will be touring in Florida from June 7-16 at different churches this year.   In the past 29 years, the Sonrise Singers have performed all around the United States and in the Bahamas.  The entire musical, script, songs, and choreography was developed in house at Bethany.   If you have any questions, please contact Kim Angerman, Director of Children and Youth Choirs.
