What to Know More about LWML and Women of Bethany
Calling all women to join this wonderful organization. Please stop by the table in the foyer and pick up information. Women of Bethany provides service and fellowship opportunities within Bethany and gathers funds to support selected outreach services. Check out the Women of Bethany table.

Women of the Word (W.O.W.) Bible Study for the Fall
Daily Word Monday Bible Study (7PM in the Fellowship Hall) - Join us for a new Beth Moore Bible study on Breaking Free based on Isaiah 61:1-14. Attached is the answer guide for Breaking Free Bible Study. Please contact Ann Trask. Childcare provided.

Bethany Marketplace
Annual fundraising bazaar will be held on the second Saturday of November. Lots of help needed for arts and crafts, organizing and serving. Funds are used for mission and service projects.

Mites and Mission Projects
Remembering the power of the "widow's mite," the Women of Bethany gather coins to support mission projects selected by the Texas District LWML. We have a "mite box" for you.

Helping Hands
The Women of Bethany volunteer to help provide meals for women who have newborns or who are sick.

Secret Sisters
Women who so request are secretly paired with another woman whom she remembers with cards and small gifts throughout the year. Secret identities are revealed at annual party in January.

Bethany Christian Store (located at Fellowship Hall)
We have a variety of gift items that are guaranteed to please, as well as offer the opportunity to witness our Christian faith to others!

Bibles, bible covers, Christian study materials, cards, journals, jewelry, gift items, home décor, and a complete line of “Willowtree” are available. New merchandise arrives regularly, and is offered at bargain prices…..so visit often…..you won’t be disappointed!

Profits from the store are used to fund mission efforts through Bethany Lutheran Church. Whether you are “gifting” yourself or someone else, you give a blessing through both your gift and your purchase.

Upcoming March Events

Monday, March 8 - Women of Bethany General Meeting from 6-7PM in Fellowship Hall with guest speaker, Brett Barnes, from Lifeworks. Lifeworks mission is transitioning youth and families from crisis to safety sucess. Bring your dinner and join us.

Friday, March 12 - Lutheran World Relief Quilting - Join us for a day (11AM-1PM) of quilting and fellowship in room 102. No sewing experience needed.

Friday, March 12 - Annual Bowie Luncheon starting at 12:15PM. Click here for more details.

Saturday, March 20 - Visiting Painted Churches of Texas - Join us for an afternoon outing. You can sign up at the Women of Bethany booth. We will meet at the church parking lot at 9AM and visit four churches and eat lunch. We will do the $4.00 self guided tour (Check out more information: Schulenburg or KLRU info).
