Pastors' Weekday Study
Pastor Lentz's class meets Tuesdays at 9:30AM in room 102. Studying the forthcoming Sunday’s Bible readings.

Bethany Marketplace
Annual fundraising bazaar held in November. Lots of help needed for arts and crafts, organizing and serving. Funds are used for mission and service projects. Register now to be a vendor in this year's Marketplace!
Mites and Mission Projects
Remembering the power of the "widow's mite," the Women of Bethany gather coins to support mission projects selected by the Texas District LWML. We have a "mite box" for you.
Helping Hands
The Women of Bethany volunteer to help provide meals for women who have newborns or who are sick.
All Church Functions/Dinners
The Women of Bethany enjoy volunteering and socializing with other women as they help host several of the all church functions.
Good Samaritan Thrift Store
This Lutheran thrift store benefits a handicapped children's home and the Women of Bethany help to staff the store three days each month.
Secret Sisters
Women who so request are secretly paired with another woman whom she remembers with cards and small gifts throughout the year. Secret identities are revealed at annual party in January.
The Church Office
Dozens of Bethany women volunteer to assist with projects in and around the church office: folding and stuffing, writing articles, assisting with events and making phone calls to name a few.

We had 162 ladies of all ages who attended the Bethany Tea last Saturday, August 16. It was a fun event filled with lots of goodies to eat, music, and a talented storyteller, Bernadette Nasher. Check out the pictures online and the bulletin board. Again, thanks to everyone who helped with this event.

Sewers, Knitters, chocheters, weavers needed

Thrivent has provided funds for us to make 30” by 30” baby blankets for Seton Southwest hospital. We have until December to make as many blankets as we can. Find your own pattern and buy the needed material or yarn. Save your receipts, give them to Martha Clark, and she will reimburse you for the cost of the supplies. Make a baby blanket in your spare time and bring a little one some joy!

Moms In Touch gathers moms together to pray specifically and Scripturally for our children and school. Come join us every Monday, beginning September 8th, here at Bethany in room # 131, from 9-10 am.
