2010 National Youth Gathering July 17-21 in New Orleans
Over the last 30 years, The National Youth Gathering has drawn over 35,000 high school and college age youth (youth entering 9th grade in Fall of 2010 to those in college under 21). Spiritual lives will be touched in ways that will be indescribable for many and the hearts and faith of our youth will forever be blessed through this experience.

July 17-21, 2010 LOOK LISTEN LIVE Fundraiser Updates The pumpkin fundraiser was a complete success. Thank you so much to all of you who helped make the pumpkin patch such a huge success. We couldn’t have done it without each of you selling pumpkins, baking baked goods, etc…We sold over $13,000 worth of pumpkins. We profited well over $5,000 from the patch, bake sale, and donations. We estimate that we still have over $4000 to fundraise so it is important that everyone pitches in. Our two fundraisers (Super Bowl Subs and Silent Auction) was a big success. We raised about $2000 between the two. Thank you for supporting this great ministry and youth! |
God calls each of us together as a body of Christ here at Bethany and we rejoice this week that a part of our body (50 youth and 8 adults) is being called to attend the National Youth Gathering. Located in the west entrance is a cross with a strip of blue fabric hanging from it. The cross is to serve as a reminder to pray for the 58 people attending our national youth gathering this week in New Orleans. The youth attending the trip also have a piece of the same cloth that they will carry with them each day to remind them that they have been sent by the body of believers at Bethany. Please pray that this trip will spiritually impact the lives of our youth forever. Thank you to each of you that have help to make this trip possible.
